I believe you have hit the nail on the head Cam and that is wind back the ball it should be the battlers like us that get the better ball to help our game where they don’t really need it.

I bet a few of the boys will be checking in with some psychologists after their tough week! Totally agree with the ball idea cam. It might help me as well…I won’t hit the bloody thing so far into trouble!
I agree just because they run a sub 10 second 100m they dont change the length of the race. Instead of making the course longer they could make the rouch a bit longer and narrow the fair way a few meters. This would negate the ball but make them play straight down the middle instead of off course. most of the second cut rough on these courses is shorter than my clubs fairways :-).
Bill: that might be the best analogy I’ve heard on why they don’t need to change the length of golf courses. If running had the same attitude, the 100m would now be 110m.
