sometimes i fat my putts. seems impossible no? doesn’t enter the ground but hits the ground before the ball. very weird. one of my putts one day was right on line but ended up short because of a faulty fat putt. happens rarely but still happens. any thoughts on this cameron? also tell me how it is possible to hit what i call a “reverse shank” with my irons where the ball travels between your feet off the hosel of the club behind the clubface. i don’t think anyone has ever hit fat putts and a reverse shank. I’m definitely unique lol
Adam: if you’re fatting putts you’re most likely in a learning phase. That, or you’re thinking way too much. Just putt for the moment. The technique will come later.
i have a naturally quick stroke with my putter. it’s not jabby but quick. I might try slowing down. my quick stroke is probably what makes me hit my putts fat. Is you swing slow as well holdini?
Adam: my thoughts: Don’t try and do anything. Putt with full awareness and your putting stroke will be just fine… Let your speed find you, not the other way around.

May 3, 2013My putting of late is quite reasonable but I like that thought on the shorter ones will give it a go with my future rounds
Cheers Lukey
