My writing has evolved since i began. So i agree with the fact that its a process. But id really like to speed things up due to the lack of going on course. I have no idea
Robert: I would argue that millions of golfers have tried to build sound mechanics and don’t have much to show for it. They can waste years (I certainly did) and lose enjoyment that comes from playing the game. I have found that playing gives you the best of both worlds – your mechanics get sorted and you can still have a great time.
I find a sort of Zen in the “technique” part–hard to explain out loud (or writing), but its the feel that is right. I feel I can always improve my “ability” however (course management, stress)
Is the subconscious mind been studied or is it something that we just know works and we use it to our advantage? I heard you can actually program your subconsious with a willed effort but i dont know how true that is. Our brains are so complex. Hopegolf is easier.
Arnold palmer once said, “Hit it hard. Find it. Hit it hard again.” Is this an example of playing freely? is this what i should do? just go out and have a good time? i want to become a professional when i’m older, so i need to know how to play freely like the rest of them do.

May 7, 2013Let me know how you get on with this. Improvement is a journey, a process and not an event.

May 8, 2013Jeff: It’s hard to explain because the part of the brain responsible for the success doesn’t use language that well.

May 8, 2013We all learnt to successfully walk before we could talk and anyone to tell us how to do it! Golf should be the same!
